The Community Dance Ensemble was founded by Maggie Dennis, artistic director of The Dance Extension, on a strong belief in the value of bringing dance performances and education to the community.  The CDE performs an established repertoire of ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance at special events, schools, benefit concerts, nursing homes, hospitals, parks and fairs throughout New England. Guest choreographers and professional dance educators set new dances and work each season.
